Using this site
These Terms of Use apply to goldenlegacyadvisors.com (the "Site"), operated by Golden Legacy Advisors ("we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the Site.
Who provides our services
Fee-based financial planning and investment advisory services are offered by Sound Income Strategies, LLC, an SEC registered investment advisory firm. Golden Legacy Advisors and Sound Income Strategies, LLC are not associated entities. Insurance and annuity products are offered separately from advisory services and pay commissions to the writing agent, which is a conflict of interest disclosed in writing before any product recommendation.
Information only, not advice
Everything on the Site is general information and education. It is not personalized investment, tax, legal or insurance advice, and it does not take into account your circumstances. Nothing on the Site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, investment strategy or insurance product, or an offer of advisory services in any state where we are not permitted to do business.
Reading the Site, submitting a form, emailing us or booking a meeting does not make you a client. A client relationship begins only when you sign a written agreement, and the services, fees and conflicts of interest will be described in writing before you do.
Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Insurance and annuity guarantees are subject to the claims-paying ability of the issuing carrier. Examples and illustrations on the Site are hypothetical and for explanation only. No instructions by form or email
We cannot accept instructions to buy or sell securities, move money, change beneficiaries or open, close or alter any account or policy through the Site's forms or by email. Instructions like these are not effective until we have confirmed them with you directly.
Accuracy of content
We work to keep the Site accurate and current, and material is drawn from sources we believe are reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete or up to date. Laws, tax rules, program limits and product terms change. Content reflects conditions as of when it was written, and we may update or remove it at any time without notice.
Our content
The Site's text, design, logos and images are owned by Golden Legacy Advisors or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell or create derivative works from the Site, or use our name or logos, without our written permission.
Acceptable use
Please do not use the Site to send spam, submit false information or someone else's information, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, interfere with its operation, or collect content or information from it by automated means.
Third-party services and links
The Site uses and links to services operated by others, including Calendly for scheduling and our social media pages. We do not control those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, about the Site, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Legacy Advisors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, or from any decision made in reliance on general information on the Site.
Your rights are not waived
Nothing in these Terms waives or limits any right you have under federal or state securities laws or other laws that cannot be waived by agreement, or any duty owed to you under a written advisory agreement or insurance contract. If you become a client, that written agreement, not these Terms, governs our services to you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
